I’m awful at updating my blog on a regular basis – I’m sure you’re all aware. So I do things like group a random bunch of photos together and call it a life update/recap … wait, I just ratted myself out I think. Anywho, prepare yourself for a ridiculously long post!
2012 started off pretty spectacularly … NYE celebrations at Lake Tapps with some rad people/canine and maybe a few White Russians…
Then, I photographed my friend Jen doing her workout thing…p.s. if you’re looking for a personal trainer in the Wallingford area you should definitely check her out at Fuerte Fitness!
Then on the 9th, to be precise, I found this sweet vintage Polaroid Land Camera at the Fremont Vintage Mall. It was a spectacular day, I also had delicious soup from Nana’s Soup House on this day (if you haven’t had Nana’s soup, I suggest you go get a “tankard” A.S.A.P., yes I did say tankard)
My smitten-ness (smite?) with the new, old camera is only to be rivaled by the freshly framed Paris watercolor, a street treasure from my trip in November, I got to pick up on Saturday…
Which brings me to the next series of events … It was in fact SNOWING on Saturday, but nothing was going to stop me from going to pick up the print. Fast forward to Sunday, my print gloating continues, the snow continues, add in an absurdly delicious blueberry french toast breakfast + some awesome Whim W’Him rehearsals…
Whim W’Him, oh my goodness where to begin?! Here’s a little snippet from the rehearsals of their newest work, which premieres this weekend at the Intiman Theatre (if you’re in Seattle this weekend Cast the First Rock in Twenty Twelve is a must-see!)
And the snow continues….
Whew done! Obviously, it’s been an awesome month so far and I think I might still be turning the big 25 at the end of this month too … craaaazy!
For a lot less of my life, and a lot more fantastic photos of Whim W’Him check out their website & blog as well the Bamberg Fine Art blog! And in case you missed it above, you can get tickets for their incredible Cast the First Rock in Twenty Twelve premiere here: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/214802
I looked out the window, and I saw the garden hose. I’ve seen the hose a million times before this morning. But. It was in this great even light, and it had dew on it, and suddenly the red and green were so much better than they’d ever been before. So. Here it is. Being all hose-like.
