Hazel is 96 years young. As if that isn’t awesome enough as is, she’s a crack up! Also, possibly exercises more than I do at the moment. Ha. I kid, but not really.
Anywaaays…Hazel. Is HILARIOUS. Loves all things purple. Lives in a great house in Magnolia, where she enjoys a glorious view, tends her fabulous flowerbeds, and just generally causes mischief and mayhem. Okay maybe not mayhem, mischief for sure though and I just like alliterations.
Two adorable boys, light sabers, Nerf guns, and baby chicks and the sweetest dog ever – what more could you ask for?! Needless to say, spending my Saturday afternoon with these guys was pretty stinkin’ awesome!
Some of you might recognize Archer from a few photos I posted in November 2010…or you might not, he seems to have grown a bit! ;) Well last Saturday I had the pleasure spending the morning with Katie, Chris, Archer and “baby bean” as they like to call her right now. It was marvelously sunny, so life was good! Here’s a few of my favorites, and I’m excited for B.B. to make her appearance!
Jo is the start of a really exciting project for me. Jo is the first of my “90 Somethings” and she’s just absolutely fabulous. Jo is 94 years young, she just celebrated her birthday last month. Born and raised in Colorado now living with her son here in Seattle. Jo’s an ace Bridge player, she plays in a club twice a week and she likes her “liquor straight and her women wild” – just kidding, though once a lover of scotch she sticks with “Constant Comment” tea these days or as her son likes to call it “No Comment!”
The dress she’s wearing is the product of a trip to Hong Kong and Southeast Asia that she took in 1978. She found the fabric there and couldn’t resist it – brought it back and made this great dress. The fisherman figurine down below is also a souvenir from that adventure : )
